Front end tremble

Front end tremble

Hey guys and gals....
I was wondering....
I have a 2000 solara SE V6 Standard with 95000 KM on her which has been absolutely problem free until now.
It seems that when I am at 120 Km/h or just under and I let up on the throttle, I get a tremble in the front end which causes my steering wheel to shake pretty bad. I can also tell that the problem becomes WORSE if I am traveling down a long hill of any sort.
If I am accelerating hard, up to 120, I get no tremble whatsoever untill I let off the gas.
I had the balance checked on all 4 tires, as well as a rotation done to see if that would ease the problem or move it from the front to the back ( blown belt or run out problem) but the problem remains unchanged. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance and sorry for the length of the post.
MATT

Oddly i think i have the same problem. the tire balance seems like the most likely cause for both of us, but i'm pretty sure it's not for either. I have the I4 and it will jerk at low speed now too. It's been doing this for a while now, i just can't figure it out. But the worst is definately the 60 mph/120kph area of driving, especially right off decel. And it's not noticeable when accelerating. Also braking for me is a big one. So if nobody else answers definately before next saturday (september 9) i'll look into it. Gonna fix it anyway.

I get the same thing sometimes. Accelerates just fine then it will shake a little when I let off the gas. Kinda makes me think its a bad motor mount.

This could be a number of reasons, including a bump or recess (inward bump) in the tires (IT HAPPENS ON NEW TIRES TOO) - balancing does not cure that condition. Under acceleration, the weight gets transferred to the rear of the car, and back to the front when braking when you noticed much of these vibrations.

I would have the suspension checked, just in case. Oh, and if disk warping is present... if its bad enough, you don't need overheated discs to quickly developed a heavy vibration.

Oh, you might want to check the bearings too... they can be pretty deceiving with symptoms.
