get ready to spend alot of $$$, not to kick you in the pants but you bought the wrong car is you plan on doing that stuff. Keep in mind some of the SG guys here have done it but it doesnt come cheap thats all :D my 2 cents.

ask yourself.. is a 99 accord rare..... NO so.. neither is the toyota competition, but ya of course an all TRD solara is actually rare.

drop 3SGTE into your car
alot of guys with a 5SFE Celica do that swap
and that engine should be the same in your gen1 4 cylinder
so it should be the same swap.

i can but my car well every solara has crank sensor which the 3sgte dont have i think this car is just fine how it is the only things i want to do to it is put a rear mount turbo and some custom pistons....and the other problems it has...TOO MUCH MONEY :drinking:
