Programming A Keyless Entry Remote (Fixed)

I just bought a 1999 Solara V6 but it did not come with a remote, only a key. I have a remote that will work with it but I cannot find how to program it. Does anyone know how to program one or where to find the instructions on it?

I have a 2000 SE that didn't come with a remote when I bought it, turns out that it wasn't made with keyless entry... There is a possibility of that with yours but since it is a V6 I would think it would come with one. There was a thread about this a month ago, I would look it up for you but im at work, mabey try the search function--search for programming keys or keyless entry...

I am pretty sure that it supports it because it has a factory anti theft system. It was also a repo car so it did not have the original keys with it. Thanks and any other info would be apprecieated.

I got it programmed. The instructions were in my glove box in the VIP Security Manual. I really had to do some disassembling to do it.
