UPDATE
Car almost started it turned over once. Then there was silence. I tried to start it again and the clicking sound returned. My guess is a power wire for the radio is grounding out somewhere and killing the battery i'm going to switch batteries tomorrow and see if i can trace the power wire for the radio.

On an older s10 blazer I own, I had a similar problem. It turned over once or twice, I stopped and tried again and got that click sound. Turned out the battery terminals were awefully dirty and the power/ground cables weren't connected tightly enough. Tightened them up and it started right up. I doubt this is your problem, but a suggestion to look into.

Battery is just dead. Recharge or replace. Not enough juice causes it to click.
