My new problem (leak in trunk)

Finally found the source of the weird smell in my car - I had 3 quarts worth of standing water in the trunk. Mostly in that side compartment, but there was about a quart in the spare tire storage area, two in that side compartment. I pulled out most of the lining, sprayed water over the rear half of the car (with the trunk closed, of course.)

I traced the leak to the ledge where the rear support frame for the convertible rests. Apparently when I put the new top on (went from tan to black) I didn't seal it properly. Oops. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it without disassembling the top partially again. Any ideas?

I also found the same spot where water, dirt, and grime stood. However mine was more black and oil-like.

I put an extra qt of oil on each side in a sack. So when I need to put oil in my car, I'll remember it's there and I can check for any standing water or oil.

Check the rubber seals that go around the trunk to keep water out, it can possibly be that or the water reservoir could be clogged.

Nah, I know what the problem is. I just want to know if anybody knows what I can use to seal the inner top back onto the ledge.
