2003 Solara 4cyl automatic

If anyone has this exact model, I want to know, out of curiosity, what common problems might arise after 40,000 miles

You should excellent reliability from it. Here's an article about the 03 Solara. http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Relia ... &trimid=-1

As you can see, the only "trouble spot" is possible failure of the charcoal canister. I'll admit, I had the same problem on my 2001, so I do agree with the article. But it was only like $100 to fix, so if by chance it does happen to, don't worry.

after 40,000 miles???? did you mean to put 140,000 miles??? or even after 200,000 miles???? Its a toyota. A pre we-gotta-be-number-one-so-lets-start-cutting-corners-to-get-there toyota at that! lol. I'm just kidding. Even after the 06-07's they're still very reliable cars. You really shouldnt even really be thinking about the mileage until past 100K
