So what's the solution to getting this exterior trim to stick to my door once again.
Maybe some type of adhesive, or plastic piece.

some double sided tape, the kind youd use to hold body moldings on. or some automotive glue...

I will see about doing the JB weld and holding it down some some duct-tape while it dries (black color of corse).

3-M Automotive trim tape. You can get it in different widths. Here a 1/2" x 25' runs about $20.00
