Wow, talk about reviving a dead thread. :)

To the best of my recollection, I was charged $650 for the belts, water pump and spark plugs (and the associated labor) and the engine was rebuilt. It looked brand new and the car drove like a dream since then. Having a professionally rebuilt engine is almost as good as a completely new one, IMO.

It's been about 12k miles since the rebuild last year, with my car almost at 85k. Going strong. :)

lol not to take over the thread but Ive had a dealership replace my valve cover gaskets 4 times. If I require a fifth time can you hook me up too!
