Gauge lighting question....

Gauge lighting question....

Postby DiamondPearlSolara01 » Tue Mar 04, 2008 3:00 pm

I brought my Solara in to a Toyota dealership because my steering column fluid was leaking. They fixed it but when I left a light was out on my gauge cluster (It wasn't out when i took it in). Is it regular to for a light to go out around 60k or should I suspect foul play. Also is it hard to replace a light in the gauge cluster and what is involved?

Its not difficult at all.
Just pop out the bezel and I think there are only 4 phillips head screws holding the cluster in place. Just undo the screws and the whole cluster will come out.
There may be a tutorial in the "tutorial" section. Good luck.
