Hey my car about 2 days ago all of a sudden started to over heat and i red lined it today. Every time i go to check my engine the heat of the engine seems normal to me because i had this problem before due to my water pump and etc. After I did all that at the dealer do you guys have any idea whats going on with my car?

Might just be a bad sensor. But if you had the dealership work on the car I would take it back there to see if they screwed something up. Once its been to the dealership, it will be back again.

How is the coolant level? Are you loosing anything out the exhaust?
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

If you're sure you don't have a broken or loose drive belt and the water pump is spinning and you're sure you have plenty of coolant in the system then the next likely suspect is a stuck thermostat.

Cheers

nothing wrong with the dealer. just seems like they touched it last and you should return since you are having trouble.

JiffyLube has been known for trying to sell extra services and not performing them. I'm sure some Dealerships are unethical as well. I remember paying for a Tranny flush at Northridge Toyota and they never did it. Checked the Tranny fluid after getting it back and it was black. So, you never know with some dealerships.

what can you sue them for?

you can try asking for your time back, but that will never happen.

how old are you?

you can file it... but most likely they have better powerful lawyers than the normal joe...

that's even if it gets to that point. most people would go back and have the dealer fix it.

well i dont even know if its really that thats the problem. ihink its my radiator because when i swerved off the road my car started to make like a hovering noise. And when it over heats i check the engine and it feels normal. I am thinking that mud got on to my radiator because i checked my bumper and some mud sneaked into the fog light compartment so idk what to do cuz the dealer is some s*it
