Should I tint the entire tail light (gen 1), or should I have a cutout for the reverse lights (the white portion)?

so what are you using to tint the lights? window tint?
2000 Solara SE V6 5sp w/ all options, 57k
6000k HID head lights
8000k HID fog lights
Reverse Indiglo Gauges
Performance Chip
Custom black grill (very nice)
20% tinted windows
