Gauge lights are off. Suggestions?

Gauge lights are off. Suggestions?

I have a 2001 Solara, and I accidentally connected the dimmer wire to the dimmer ground when I was installing a Pioneer stereo head unit.

Now the lights for some gauges (i.e., speedometer) don't light up. Basically,
these lights are controlled by the dimmer.

Could you provide some suggestions please? i.e., what are the things
to look into? Thank you.

I'm very good at going through electric diagrams and nailing down the
problem. In fact, I have the diagrams from 2001 Solara. If some clues
can be offered, I greatly appreciate.

fuse? recheck connections, wiring etc.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

or it's possible that you may have burned out the dimmer as well

without the dimmer attached, your gauge cluster won't work (if it's the same as in the camry)
