Check Engine: P0125 & P0135

So I was just driving around town and the check engine light came on.

Went to Advanced Auto and had them pull the code(s):

P0125 – Insufficient Coolant Temperature closed loop fuel control (non-California)
· Open or short in heated oxygen sensor (bank 1, sensor 1) circuit
· Heated oxygen sensor (bank 1, sensor 1) malfunction
· PCM malfunction

P0135 - Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1)
· Open or short in heated oxygen sensor heater circuit
· Heated Oxygen sensor heater malfunction
· PCM malfunction

My thing is that I had the P0135 code come up last year and got the 02 sensor replaced. But never had the P0125 code come up and I just did a coolant flush with Prestone Orange a few months back. My temperature sensor is below the middle point. Ive unplugged/reset my car and it came back up a few miles later. What could the problem be...?

toyota red coolant is the only thing i would trust in my car. i believe there has been some discussion on why the toyota red should be the only coolant used in our cars.

that may be one of the reasons. but i'm no mechanic, just kinda mechanically inclined.

it may also be that a coolant thermostat is out

or maybe the wire is kinked or loose. since it's potentially nothing more than an electrical problem, i'd start there, and inspect the thermostat/sensor wires, and make sure that all connections are good and cleanly connected. if that doesnt fix it, then start checking the individual peices.

i'd tend to the P0125 code before the P0135 code, since you have already had to change out your O2 sensor last year.

Well the Prestone Orange has been compared to Toyota Red...once mixed it is red...it has the lubriciant that toyota uses for the water pump.

But other then that I'm confused. I did an exact 50/50 flush (for sure the right way)

But is that what code P0125 does mean, the coolant isnt mixed right...maybe too hot? It has been hot here for the past week or two 90-100 and I have been moving from one apt to another on a small collage town...??

EDIT: Well looked it up on OBD-Code.com and came up with this

Causes

A code P0125 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

* Insufficient warm up time
* Low engine coolant level
* Leaking or stuck open thermostat
* Faulty coolant temperature sensor

Possible Solutions

The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back.

If the code comes back, the problem is likely going to be the result of the above causes (faulty thermostat, faulty coolant sensor, or a low coolant level).

Guess I really cant complain since the car has 118,000miles on it. Which one do you think could be out....even though taking the car to a shop will be the best option:

if you're confident that it's not the type or amount of coolant in the system (since you just flushed and filled), then i would say it narrows the guessing down to faulty wiring, or a bad coolant thermostat or sensor. in that case, i would remove and examine those parts, then buy and replace, hoping that the code clears.

Bump...going home to get the solara back this weekend.

Heres some info:
1. My gas mileage isnt affected as I know. When I took the car home I got the same gas mileage as ive been getting since my spark plugs were replaced...would this exclude the 02 sensor?

2. The temp gauge hasent moved pass halfway, its at about a degree below half.

Questions
1. How would I find out if it was my thermostat?

2. Where is the coolant temp sensor?? I tried to look in my service manual cd but couldn't find it...ebay has it as part number TX40...

Anyone?
