i just got my major service today, including having my valv cover gaskets changed. while open, i noticed that while there was not sludge (suh-weet) there was some crusty buildup esp around the rear spark plug area.
since i am due for some oil changes, i was wondering if switching to synthetic like mobil 1 would do something in clearing off some of the stuff. i know someone mentioned something about synthetics 'cleaning' out some buildup???
