Slave Clutch Cylinder Question....

Hey All,

I'm having a little issue with my clutch slave cylinder. It's leaking a little. This is the cylinder that is located close to the transmission.

The way I see it, this cylinder seems to have the only purpose of regulating the hydraulic flow to the actual clutch actuator.

What I'm getting to is that I want to know if anyone has ever bypassed this system.... I'm thinking about trying it out... I don't feel like changing that part, I have a feeling it'll be expensive... I don't believe it'll do much harm.

probably not a good idea...

and the part is cheap. go to napa or something and pick up a new one.

If I remember correctly, it was only about 40bucks canadian....which means that it'll be dirt cheap down there in the states.
