Hood Smoke

Postby Ransom8707 » Mon May 28, 2007 10:37 pm

hey guys well i just posting a post here to see if I could get any help or luck. well today I was at red light when an Mustang GT called me out lol. Well to the point I stepped on the gas and easily beat him on a 1 mile race you can say. But when I got home and opened my door i noticed some smoke coming out the hood. So I opened it and I seen some smoke coming straight out the middle of the hood with some burning smoke odor like if something on the bottom of the car has been burning probably from the transmission or so. I checked if he car overheated but it was mid normal. Couldn't really check the problem today Ill probably do that first thing tomorrow, but wanted to know what could of cost this smoke to come out  Well if anybody could help before I go ahead and pay some extra cash that I dont need to would really help THANKS

.. so you beat a GT huh? ...

on a one mile race...

are you sure he was trying?
are you heavily modded?
are you manual/auto?

you probably blew something, because you pushed your car too hard.
hell, you maybe even just overheated something..

or if all else fails, your blinker fluid probably just needs to be changed.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

your clutch is toast...and for the record, you did not beat a gt, maybe a v6, but not a gt unless it was a total piece of $hit.

Did you know what the smell resembled?

Anything else: Pop open the appropriate container and carefully take a whiff, but imagine it burnt or more obnoxious.
