has anyone with the automatic start on their car had any problems with it not working...mine hasnt worked fo maybe..a year or a little more now..and im wondering if it can be fixed? wires loose? something?

i hold down the 2 buttons, and the green light comes on, but my car doesnt start.

DEI is the company that produces most alarms but they have there own branch names for example: viper, avital, etc...if you can find out what model it is i can try and find out how to reprogram it, and ill tell you how to.

PS, on my remote start, you don't hit two separate buttons... you hit the same button twice... have you ever gotten it to work?

I recently had a similar problem. Try sitting in the car and point the remote at the key slot and see if it starts. My problem ended up being a loose connection at the box under the steering wheel that runs the remote start a couple drops of hot solder, problem solved.

on my avital remote start, i have to press the same button twice but you gotta wait like atleast 1-2 seconds in btw.

yea it used to work ... and fo mine..i have to hold down the 2 buttons
